Lectors prepare and read the Scriptures at Sunday and Holy Day liturgies.

Additional Liturgical Ministries

Greeters
Greeters welcome the community to worship. General responsibilities for this ministry are to greet people warmly, distribute handouts and help all people feel welcome when entering the Church of St. Michael. Committees and individual families sign up to greet before Mass.

Hospitality
Coffee, juice and doughnuts or cookies are provided after the weekend Sunday Masses from September through May. Volunteers sign up for a specific Mass time to serve the coffee and doughnuts. Many of our committees take a turn to serve.

Ushers
An usher has a gift of hospitality, seats people, takes up the collection, cares for needs during the liturgy and hands out Sunday bulletins.
