Funeral Planning
Funerals
When a death occurs in your family, contact Father Sieg or Deacon Roy at the Parish Office by calling 952-447-2491. Your family will meet with the Pastor, Pastoral Minister and Director of Music to plan the Mass of Christian Burial.
Funeral Planning
St. Michael offers a funeral planning resource entitled, “Funeral Planning for Yourself or a Loved One.” Whether you are planning ahead for your own funeral or planning a funeral for a family member or a loved one from another parish or denomination, this booklet contains an abundance of useful information, such as suggested readings, prayers of the faithful, music, and the involvement of others in the liturgy (Eucharistic ministers, lectors, gift bearers, eulogists). A copy of the resource is also available at the Parish Office.
Funeral Luncheon
A funeral luncheon will be provided for families of deceased members here at the parish. Our Funeral Luncheon Committee will serve the meal in the Archangels Hall. Food will be ordered from the Village Market Deli. Family members, neighbors and friends are welcome to contribute hot dishes, cold salads and desserts for the luncheon. Please contact Jeanette Weidner at 952-445-1655.
