Preschool & Kindergarten

10:30 a.m. Class – After the victorious Easter Egg Hunt!

Program Information

Each week our curriculum prepares the preschoolers and kindergartners to learn about God. Each Sunday they listen to a Gospel story, share their own experiences and do a related activity. The children hear the same Gospel story at their level that the community hears at Mass. Children learn about being a part of the community and God’s family through Baptism and prayers. They re-enact the greatest story ever told, the Nativity, in December. We sing many songs and learn Bible verses that relate to the daily Gospels. Each Spring we tour the chapel and learn hands on about the days that lead us to Easter. The prayers we learn are “The Sign of the Cross,” “Our Father,”  “Hail Mary,”  and “The Glory Be.”

Class Schedule: Preschool (age 4 by September 1) and Kindergarten children meet during Mass (8:30 or 10:30 a.m.) on Sunday mornings in the St. Michael Catholic School/Education Center.

Curriculum: We teach the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies, utilizing the Seeds and Promise curriculum. For more information, visit their website at www.pflaum.com
