Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is normally received at the end of the 10th grade year following a two-year preparation program offered during the 9th and 10th grade Faith Formation classes. The program includes speakers who invite the youth to meet Christ, retreats (Quest, TEC and NET), mission outreach (Feed My Starving Children, Magnifying Abilities, various nursing homes and others), small group sharing time and field trips.
Confirmation in 2012 will be celebrated at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 16, at the Cathedral of St. Paul.

Program Information – 9th & 10th graders meet on Wednesday evenings in Archangels Hall (below the church). Occasionally classes are combined for a speaker or special event. Normal session times are:

10th Grade 7:30 – 8:45 p.m.
- Curriculum: Our program is speaker based with table groups consisting of five or six teens at a table with one or two table leaders.

Volunteer as a Small Group Leader
Volunteers are needed to be small group table leaders. Table groups consist of five or six teens and one or two table leaders during Wednesday evening classes. Training is provided. 11th and 12th graders are encouraged to stay with the program as small group leaders. High School Youth Ministry
The Holy Grounds Coffee House is open to high school youth every Sunday at Noon, and is a fantastic place for young people to call their own. Other youth activities occur about once a month. Annual events include the Catholic Heart Mission Trip, a Spring Break Ski Trip to Montana, lock-ins and movie nights.
