Learn about the opportunities for pastoral care, support, and health/wellness that are available for you and your family at the Church of St. Michael.

  • 500 Card Club – Social group that meets for dinner and cards. Watch the bulletin for more details.
  • Card Ministry – Greeting card outreach to the sick, suffering and those age 55 and older on their birthdays. Contact Laura Shupe (952) 447-2486, ext. 104, if you have questions.
  • Care Notes – Free pamphlets displayed in the church narthex and lower church entrances
  • Cursillo – Is a Spanish word meaning “a short course in Christianity.”  It begins with a three-day experience in making Christ the center of one’s life.  It is designed for people who have a desire to grow spiritually. Please contact Tim & Bev Ostertag (952- 440-9152) if you are interested in learning more about Cursillo.
  • Eucharist for the Homebound – Trained parishioners bring the Eucharist to people who are unable to receive communion within the parish community. Contact Mary Kay Velishek (952) 447-3209 or the Parish Office (952) 447-2491 to arrange.
  • Meals on Wheels – We deliver meals to shut-ins in Prior Lake from Prior Manor. Drivers are needed over the noon hour, Monday-Friday, one week per month to deliver meals. Contact Annette Thomas (952) 447-4280.
  • Prayer Line – An intercessory prayer team that accepts telephone requests for personal needs. All calls are confidential. Contact Helen at (952) 447-3209 or email mkvelishek@integra.net
