Discipleship Committee

The Discipleship Committee meets monthly to work closely with all ministries and parishioners to provide opportunities for parishioners to share their time and talent and deepen their faith journey here at the Church of St. Michael.

The committee is always looking for new ideas to apply to this principle and new members are always welcome. The Discipleship Committee meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Office.

Mission Statement

Engage all parishioners to respond to God’s love for them by sharing the many gifts that God has blessed them with.

The Discipleship Committee is guided by the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Ad Hoc Committee on Stewardship’s pastoral letter entitled Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response

2011 Church of St. Michael Ministry Fairs

October 8th/9th and 15th/16th, 2011

Thank you to everyone who participated in our ministry fairs this after each mass.  All of the ministries and groups did a fantastic job of showcasing the wonderful things that they all do. Time & Talent registration forms are available on-line and in the Parish office.  If you didn’t get a chance to fill one out, please consider doing so and getting involved with one of the ministries in our church.  There are a lot of great things going on.

We are currently processing the many Time & Talent forms completed during the Ministry Fair weekends and ask for your patience before receiving a response.

The Ministry Fairs are an important component of the annual Fall Stewardship Campaign. Planned as a celebration, the fairs can accomplish the following goals:

  • Build community
  • Generate excitement about all the Parish ministries
  • Recognize and thank those who are involved in ministry
  • Educate parishioners and highlight the ministries.
