Adult Faith Formation
The mission of this committee is to offer opportunities for adults to share knowledge and to grow, to explore, enrich and to experience continued development of their faith journey. This is achieved through education, fellowship and guidance to live out the Gospel message.

Bible Study OPPORTUNITIES:

Little Rock Scripture Study – This program uses prayer, large group discussion, video presentation and personal study to learn about the Bible. The topic for the fall 2008 study is Parables of the Kingdom, part II, and will be offered on Sundays from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Office Building, beginning September 28. The sessions are repeated on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:30 a.m. The cost of this six-session study is $15 per person. For more information or to register, please call: Laura Shupe at

Crossways Bible Study - This is a two-year comprehensive study of the entire Bible using the Crossways study program. It is designed for those who want to work through the Scriptures in detail. We meet 30 times each year on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m.; the session is repeated on Friday morning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. There is both large group discussion and personal study. Divine Drama Bible Study - Join us for The Divine Drama a 13-session narrative study of the Bible on Monday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Archangels Hall. The purpose of the study is to give participants the "big picture" of God's message to humanity and a new and deeper understanding of Jesus. We follow the story line that runs through the Old and New Testaments - from Creation to Christ. The cost is $25 per person. Crown Financial Ministries: Everyday, each person makes five to seven financial decisions. It is comforting and consoling to know there are 2,350 verses in the Bible that will guide and help us as we make day-to-day choices. For more information, please contact Stu & Cathy Walker at 952-835-0365.

BOOK CLUB
This group
meets on the first Monday of each month in the Parish Office building to discuss a book selected by the group. We offer two discussion times: 9:30-11:00 a.m. and 7:00-8:30 p.m. Join us when the book is of interest to you.

Church LIBRARY and resource center – is located on the south side of the main level of the church building and is open before and after the weekend Masses and on Wednesdays before and aftrer the school liturgy. Our selection of books, may be checked out for 3 weeks and media items are available for 1 week.

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA)

his is a process for adults interested in joining the Catholic Church and for baptized Catholic adults who need to complete the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation. The group which includes both candidates and sponsors meets on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Parish Office Building. Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)
This is a process for children age 4 and above who have not been baptized and want to be baptized in the Catholic Church. This process incluldes both child and parent involvement. For more inforamtion, please conatct Laura Shupe at 952-447-2486, ext. 104.

SMALL FAITH SHARING GROUPS - consist of 6-12 people who meet for two hours weekly or semi-monthly to discuss a specific topic or the Sunday readings. Groups are formed in the Fall and at the beginning of Lent and are provided with materials to initiate prayer and discussion. A small fee may be charged for the materials.
